Event Details

It’s the Caribbean type of carnival.  There will be seminars, durbar of chiefs and visit to tourist sites. The ceremony of the wall of return where Diasporans will wash their feets and face to signify their return home.

The event will focus on Caribbean cultural and the influences from Ghana. It is brought to you by the Ghana-Caribbean Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the National Commission on Culture.

It promises to be fun, bringing the streets of Kumasi to a standstill. Save the date and join us…

 Roots Synergy Roundtable on a Decade of Return in Accra

 THE LIBERTY AND REUNIFICATION MONUMENT (WALL) is to Commemorate the millions of African people, victims of the trans-Atlantic slave trade, slavery, colonialism and apartheid, who were forcefully taken away from their Homeland Africa into centuries of crimes against their humanity and for the Remembrance of all Heroes and Heroines who made happened that the crimes against humanity could be brought to an end, for those (Pan) Africans who fight against all forms of racism. It will also be in honour and remembrance of those who answered President Akuffo-Addo’s call for the African Diaspora to return home after 400 years of slavery.
